Neath Port Talbot Cancer Challenge Charity

The Neath Port Talbot Cancer Challenge Charity was formed by Joan Lewis MBE in 1997 to raise money to purchase equipment which could be used to diagnose and treat cancer in local hospitals. In recognition of its achievements the charity was awarded the prestigious Queens Golden Jubilee award for voluntary service in 2006.

The Charity is administered by a management committee comprised entirely of volunteers and fixed overheads are minimal. The Charity does not pay any salaries, wages or honoraria and has no assets which incur maintenance costs, thus maximising the funds available to meet its objectives.
